C-band (* Note 1) erbium-doped fiber small signal amplifier (PA, Pre-Amplifier) is an amplifier specifically designed for weak optical signals in the C-band range of -45dBm to -25dBm. The typical gain of small signals is as high as 35~45 dB, and it has a low noise index. Used before the photodetector to improve its ability to detect weak light signals.
*Note 1: This EDFA product can be used for amplifying signals of any single or multiple wavelengths within the working wavelength range, but the gain spectrum flatness is not considered when inputting multi wavelength signals. As shown in the figure on this page, the EDFA-PA-35 small signal amplifier can achieve high gain amplification for input signals of different wavelengths in the C-band (multiple wavelengths are not simultaneously input to the EDFA in the figure). When the input power of a single wavelength is -35dBm, the effective gain is greater than 35dB, and the amplified signal background noise ratio is greater than 30dB.

*Note 2: ACC mode: Automatic current control, the EDFA pump working current is set by the user and automatically locked by the EDFA to achieve a constant pump current. When the input optical power fluctuates, the output power will also fluctuate accordingly, which is applicable to all EDFA models.
